MUSIC BUSINESS, MANAGEMENT & AUDIO ENGINEERINGPhoto of Seoul/Tokyo

Experience the music and entertainment industries of Japan and Korea! In the vibrant cities of Tokyo and Seoul, we will visit palaces and other historic sites to explore Japanese and Korean culture and understand their influences on business practices. Additionally, we will be meeting with insiders in the J-pop and K-pop music industries, visiting with record labels, and attending music shows. The trip will allow students to immerse themselves in two of the biggest metropolitan cities in East Asia, enjoying a wide range of food, entertainment, and technology that the area is known for.
Excursions
  • Visit palaces and historic sites in Seoul and Tokyo
  • Visit record labels and attend music shows
  • Visit and interact with K-Pop entertainment companies and artists

COURSES AVAILABLE
 
All courses will satisfy either Belmont requirements in the Gen Ed core or the specified major. You must participate in at least one course offered in South Korea and Japan. You should consult individual program faculty to see how online options can fit into your study abroad program.

COSTS

1. Program Fee: $6,000: 
This fee will include round trip airfare from Nashville, in-country transportation, meals, site visits and group excursions, student health insurance.

Costs not covered by the program fee include: Course texts/supplies, personal expenses.

2. Belmont Tuition
Tuition is charged at the special study abroad tuition rate of 2/3 off the cost of normal Maymester tuition. For every 3 hours of study abroad credit you register for, you pay for only one hour.  

Program Deposit: $500 due at time of application
