AT A GLANCE/LOCATION
Victoria University is located in Melbourne, Australia. The main campus at Footscray Park is about 10-12 minutes from city center by train. Victoria is one of Australia’s most culturally and socially diverse universities with around 8,000 students from 100 countries enrolling with them each year. The university and the city of Melbourne have a lot to offer in the way of cultural activities. Melbourne is known to have a festival going on all the time ranging from arts to music to sports and food. Students have multiple opportunities to get involved both on and off campus, and the Victoria University International Office makes sure that students can get connected to make the most out of their time.
Melbourne is a beautiful and diverse city, and voted one of the most student-friendly cities in the world. It has also been voted the world's most liveable cities for six consecutive years When you study at Victoria University, you'll be in good company. Victoria University offers many areas of study including: arts, business, music business, education, engineering & science, health & biomedicine, law & justice, and sport & exercise science.
Victoria University offers courses across a number of majors including: arts, business electives, music business, education, engineering & sciences, health & biomedicine, and sport & exercise science. A full course-load at Victoria is 3 to 4 courses, which is equivalent to 12-15 credits in the U.S.

Student housing is available across the street from campus. The housing is managed by Uni-lodge, which manages student accommodations throughout Australia. Housing costs roughly $800 - $1,200 a month. Learn more information about housing here.

2. Belmont Tuition
Tuition is charged at the regular semester rate. Students pay tuition to Belmont.
Students are responsible for booking their own international travel. Students should wait until they have received formal acceptance from Victoria University into their program before booking their airfare.
During the first week of school, the university has an orientation week, also known as O-Week, and there will be a chance to learn about all the clubs and societies Victoria has to offer. There are many leadership groups, sports clubs, student societies, and volunteer opportunities to choose from. Victoria University International has a program called Aussie Mates of Internationals (AMI) designed to help students with orientation, social networking, adjusting to life in another country, among many other things. Students are paired up with an Australian counterpart.

3. After logging in to your myBelmont account, if you are not re-directed back to Belmont Global, open a new window for Belmont Global to complete your application.
This program has a two-step application process:
The Belmont’s Study Abroad Office Application, which includes:
- Passport photocopy
- Online questionnaires
- Signature documents
Only application materials for Step 1 must be turned in by the corresponding term’s deadlines as listed above.
The Host University Application,
This Step will be completed after
your advisor reviews and accepts your Belmont application.
- If Belmont’s Study Abroad Office accepts your application, your study abroad advisor will provide you with additional information, and supplemental application instructions will be sent to you.
